SJR 88 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, provides that civil actions relating to injuries or illnesses caused by rape or forcible sodomy, injuries or illnesses caused by childhood sexual abuse, or tortious conduct that causes a person to be a victim of rape, forcible sodomy, or childhood sexual abuse against the party committing the rape, forcible sodomy, or childhood sexual abuse may be commenced at any time, including those actions that have been barred by the application of the existing statute of limitations at the time of this provision's enactment.
