This bill requires school districts and charter schools to install and maintain camera systems on school buses, and ensure that buses that are used by a contracted company also maintain video coverage. The bill, requires the district to save and have access to the video for at least 60 days after recording, and make such video available upon request. In the case of a request or incident the video in question shall be maintained for a year.
