This bill establishes within the Department of Public Safety, the "Missouri Cybersecurity Commission", with a purpose of identifying risk and vulnerability from cyber attacks of critical infrastructure in Missouri. The following is a summary of the public testimony from the committee hearing. The testimony was based on the introduced version of the bill.

PROPONENTS: Supporters say this bill will form a non-partisan commission focused on cyber security within government agencies to improve and adapt to the growing risk of cyber attacks. Cyber security is often something that is seen as out of sight out of mind until it is too late and this bill is a forward thinking way to help mitigate the risk.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Hardwick and Fortinet.
