This bill requires a proportional reduction in salary for specified chief executive officials in municipalities or counties who authorize rules, ordinances, or policies that result in a significant interruption to the operating hours of private businesses in a particular county or municipality. There is an exception for cases of disaster involving the evacuation of residents from a region and for specified contractual agreements entered into before August 28, 2021.
