COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "Do Pass by Consent" by the Standing Committee on Health and Mental Health Policy by a vote of 15 to 0. Vote "Do Pass- Consent" by the Standing Committee on Consent and House Procedure by a vote of 9 to 0.

This bill designates June as "Myasthenia Gravis Month" and encourages citizens to celebrate with activities and events that raise awareness about this treatable but progressive and difficult to diagnose condition.

This bill is the same as HB 1718 (2020).

PROPONENTS: Supporters say that as a person who has experienced the medical maze that is myasthenia gravis diagnosis, this bill will help other medical professionals become more aware of this condition and help others diagnose it sooner.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Morse.

OPPONENTS: There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
