COMMITTEE ACTION: Voted "Do Pass" by the Standing Committee on Transportation by a vote of 13 to 0. Voted "Do Pass" by the Standing Committee on Rules- Legislative Oversight by a vote of 10 to 0.

This bill repeals the provision of law which requires that vehicles manufactured as an even-numbered model year must be renewed each even-numbered calendar year and that vehicles manufactured as an odd-numbered model year must be renewed each odd-numbered calendar year.

This bill is the same as HB 2371 (2020).

PROPONENTS: Supporters say that this makes the process easier.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Bromley.
