HB 56 -- FLEEING MOTORIST PROTECTION ACT

This bill establishes the "Fleeing Motorist Protection Act", which specifies that a person who attempts to flee in a motor vehicle from an unlawful or riotous assemblage because he or she believes that he or she or any occupant in the motor vehicle is in danger will not be civilly or criminally liable for any death or injuries to any individual participating in the unlawful or riotous assemblage that may result from such person fleeing in the motor vehicle.
