This bill establishes the "Behavioral Crisis Grant Program" within the Department of Mental Health for not for profit organizations to offer crisis care programs, subject to appropriations. Eligible programs will provide health care, mental health care, or other services and support to people in immediate danger. Grantees must provide a crisis phone line, residential facility, or a referral program.
