This bill specifies that a person commits the offense of stealing and is guilty of a class D felony if the person unlawfully enters a motor vehicle for the purpose of appropriating movable property of another and takes possession of, carries away, or exercises unlawful control over, or attempts to do such things, such movable property of another from the motor vehicle.
