This bill specifies that, if a person commits the offense of nonsupport, posts a cash bond for release pending trial, and is subsequently arrested on a warrant for failing to appear on the charge of nonsupport, the posted cash bond will be forfeited and the court must direct the bond to be remitted to the family support payment center for payment of the person's child support arrears.
