HB 2375 -- BIOMETRIC DATA

This bill prohibits any person or entity from disclosing, obtaining, retaining, or using any biometric data, which includes, among other things, DNA, behavioral data, and imagery of physical characteristics, of any individual with whom the person or entity is engaged in trade or commerce for any purpose other than for a purpose the individual reasonably expects.

Additionally, the bill prohibits law enforcement agencies or peace officers from installing, activating, using, or requesting from another law enforcement agency or peace officer any biometric surveillance data in connection to an officer camera or data collected by an officer camera.
