This bill prohibits licensed psychologists, behavior analysts, professional counselors, social workers, and marital and family therapists from engaging in conversion therapy with a minor. Conversion therapy is defined as any practice or treatment that seeks to change an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity.
This bill is the same as HB 516 (2019) and HB 2141 (2018).
