HB 2252 -- ASSISTANT PHYSICIAN EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS

Under current law, an assistant physician must have completed Step 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or its equivalent. This bill requires an assistant physician to have completed either Step 2 or Step 3 of the USMLE or its equivalent.

This bill is the same as HB 860 (2019).
