This bill prohibits any health professional licensed in this state to administer any hormonal treatment or perform any surgery for gender reassignment on any person under the age of 18. Doing so would result in loss of license (Section 191.1180, RSMo).
The bill also adds coercing a child to undergo treatment for gender reassignment to the list of actions that are considered criminal abuse or neglect of a child (Section 568.060).
