Currently, MO HealthNet coverage is provided for anyone who was in foster care on the day he or she turned 18 or 30 days before his or her 18th birthday, so long as he or she meets the other specified requirements. This bill provides MO HealthNet coverage for anyone in foster care, at any time, from the age of 13 who meets other specified requirements.
The bill also provides MO HealthNet Coverage for any homeless child or homeless youth.
This bill is similar to HB 1036 (2019).
