This bill allows a creditor with a secured interest in a property that has been involved in an incident to obtain any closed records, including an incident report or other records closed by a law enforcement agency, for the purposes of the investigation of any civil claim or defense.
This bill is similar to HB 1465 (2020); and HCS HB 968 & 902 (2019).
