HB 1751 -- RIGHT TO REMEMBER ACT

This bill establishes the "Right to Remember Act".

This bill prohibits any agency, political subdivision, or entity with the power of eminent domain from relocating, renaming, rededicating, erecting, modifying, removing, concealing, or otherwise disturbing any state historic military monument or memorial, marker, designated veteran s grave marker, or statutorily designated monument or memorial on any site under control of the Department of Natural Resources or otherwise located on state lands and listed on the Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's registry or amend any practice of permitted public ceremony on any registered state historic site, unless the entity holds a public hearing and receives a majority vote from the council approving the action.

This bill is the same as HB 608 (2019).
