HB 1651 -- DISABILITY DESIGNATION ON DRIVER'S LICENSE

This bill allows a resident of this state to elect to have a disability designation placed on the person's driver's license or nondriver's identification card indicating that the applicant has a disability, including a cognitive, mental, neurological, or physical disability, or a combination of those disabilities.

The information collected by the application shall be transferred by the Department of Revenue to the State Highway Patrol for entry into the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES).

The Director of the Department of Revenue may promulgate all necessary rules and regulations for the administration of this driver's license disability designation.

This bill has an effective date of July 31, 2021.
