This bill specifies that the election date for street light maintenance district board members is the general municipal election date, and that a board may authorize nominations to be filed with the election authority under whose jurisdiction the district is located.
The bill also changes the staggered election of board members beginning at the first general municipal election to occur after August 28, 2020.
This bill is similar to HB 414 (2019).
