SPONSOR: Morgan
Beginning in the 2021-22school year, this bill requires a parent or guardian in the City of St. Louis and the Kansas City school districts who chooses to enroll a child in a public, private, parochial, or parish school or full-time equivalent attendance in a combination of schools to do so by the time the child is age five. These provisions do not apply to home-schooled children.
This bill is similar to HB 538 (2019) and HB 1770 (2018).
