This bill requires public schools to adopt and implement a policy beginning in the 2020-21 school year for prefilled auto syringes of epinephrine. The school nurse or a designated employee of the school is responsible for the maintenance of the supply.
The State Board of Education must develop a model policy for districts to adopt before January 1, 2021.
This bill is similar to HB 342 (2019).
