This bill requires any individual who registers as a lobbyist or held office as a legislator or statewide officer to dissolve his or her candidate committee, using the procedures under Section 105.465, RSMo, if he or she does not file to run for another legislative or statewide office within four years of the end of his or her term in office for a former statewide officer and senator, or within two years of the end of his or her term in office for a former member of the House of Representatives.
This bill is the same as HB 392 (2019).
