Currently, any person who makes an expenditure of $500 or more, other than contributions to candidates or committees, to support or oppose a candidate or ballot measure must file certain reports under Section 130.047, RSMo.
This bill requires any entity that is not a defined committee that makes aggregate expenditures of $500 or more, other than contributions to candidates or committees, to support or oppose a candidate or ballot measure to file a quarterly donor report with the name and address of the donors to the entity who give more than $50 to the entity in a quarter.
This bill is the same as HB 394 (2019).
