This bill requires a health benefit plan to provide coverage for contraceptives at no charge. Individuals with no insurance coverage or whose insurance coverage does not include contraceptives due to the religious beliefs or sincerely held moral convictions of the health carrier shall be reimbursed by the state for the costs of such contraceptives.
