Subject to appropriation, the Department of Health and Senior Services must implement a women’s health services program by July 1, 2019, through qualified health providers to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies. The initial funding for the program will be $5 million. The services will include certain health screenings, treatments, and referrals; family planning services; and education.
This bill is similar to HB 370 (2017).
