1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Daniel Bozanich of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, for earning the rank of
1.3Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Daniel Bozanich is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 347 and
1.9has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Daniel began his time in BSA as a cub scout, taking on more leadership positions
1.11as he progressed, becoming assistant patrol leader, troop historian, troop bugler, patrol leader, and
1.12eventually, Daniel became the troop guide, a position he has held for over a year; and
1.13WHEREAS, outside of scouts, Daniel has always been a good student, earning high grades,
1.14taking honors and AP classes, joining the National Honor Society, playing music in several bands,
1.15and participating in multiple sports; and
1.16WHEREAS, Daniel has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, has completed several
1.17community service projects, including raking the lawns of elderly residents, volunteering at Feed
1.18My Starving Children, helping with bell ringing for the Salvation Army, shoveling snow for local
1.19churches, and participating in a program to pick up wreaths at Fort Snelling, and has fulfilled all
1.20other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.21WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.22NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.23congratulates Daniel Bozanich of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
2.1BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
2.2copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
2.3Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Daniel Bozanich.
