(a) The sums shown in the columns marked "Appropriations" are appropriated to the
agencies and for the purposes specified in this article. The appropriations are from the
general fund, or another named fund, and are available for the fiscal years indicated for
each purpose. The figures "2022" and "2023" used in this article mean that the appropriations
listed under them are available for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, or June 30, 2023,
respectively. "The first year" is fiscal year 2022. "The second year" is fiscal year 2023. "The
biennium" is fiscal years 2022 and 2023.

Minnesota business development public
infrastructure grant program under Minnesota
Statutes, section 116J.431. This appropriation
is available until June 30, 2025.

(b) $1,425,000 each year is for the business
development competitive grant program. Of
this amount, up to five percent is for
administration and monitoring of the business
development competitive grant program. All
grant awards shall be for two consecutive
years. Grants shall be awarded in the first year.

(c) $1,772,000 each year is for contaminated
site cleanup and development grants under
Minnesota Statutes, sections 116J.551 to
116J.558. This appropriation is available until
June 30, 2025.
