CONTENT

 

The bill would amend Article 12 of the Occupational Code to amend the definition of "natural hair cultivation to include shampoo services. In effect, this would allow an individual who was licensed as a natural hair culturist to perform shampoo services on another individual's hair for the purpose of performing natural hair cultivation on that individual.

 

"Shampoo services" would mean preparing a customer for a shampoo, or shampooing or blow-drying a customer.
