CONTENT

 

The bill would repeal Section 30 of the Michigan Campaign Finance Act, which prohibits a candidate committee, a political party committee, an independent committee, or a committee organized by a caucus of the Legislature from accepting a contribution from a person who was prohibited from making a contribution during the period under Section 7b of the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act. (Section 7b of the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act was repealed by Public Act 158 of 2019).
