HOUSE BILL NO. 4428

A bill to amend 1986 PA 268, entitled

"Legislative council act,"

(MCL 4.1101 to 4.1901) by adding section 105a.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 105a. If the bureau prepares and prints a publication or newsletter for a legislator to distribute to the legislator's constituents, the bureau shall, at the request of the legislator, prepare and print additional copies of the publication or newsletter in 1 or more languages other than English, including, but not limited to, 1 or more of the following languages:

(a) Arabic.

(b) Chinese.

(c) French.

(d) German.

(e) Haitian.

(f) Hindi.

(g) Spanish.
