1 Sec. 1. Attorney General to provide update on implementation of the
2 federal Savanna's Act. Resolved: That, by December 1, 2021, the Attorney General
3 shall submit to the Joint Standing Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety and the
4 Joint Standing Committee on Judiciary a report on the implementation in the State of the
5 federal Savanna's Act, Public Law 116-165 (2020). The committees may report out
6 legislation to the Second Regular Session of the 130th Legislature based on the report
7 submitted by the Attorney General.
8 SUMMARY
9 This resolve requires the Attorney General to submit a report on the implementation in
10 the State of the federal Savanna's Act. The report must be submitted to the Joint Standing
11 Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety and the Joint Standing Committee on
12 Judiciary by December 1, 2021.
