 1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2 Sec. 1. 8 MRSA §374, sub-§6 is enacted to read:
3 6. Boys and Girls Clubs lottery game. No later than January 30, 2022, the
4 commission shall develop and initiate a Boys and Girls Clubs lottery game designed to
5 raise funds for clubs in the State of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America or successor
6 organization. The commission shall provide the net proceeds of the game to the Treasurer
7 of State for deposit in a separate account. The funds must be used for the purposes
8 described in this subsection. The commission shall change the Boys and Girls Clubs game
9 ticket periodically throughout the year.
10 SUMMARY
11 This bill creates a lottery ticket to raise funds for clubs in the State of the Boys and
12 Girls Clubs of America organization.
