1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2 Sec. 1. 21-A MRSA §752, sub-§5 is enacted to read:
3 5. Privacy of voters. An absentee ballot issued to a voter must be wrapped in a blank,
4 opaque sleeve of paper or other material of sufficient thickness to prevent the writing on
5 the ballot from being visible when placed in the ballot's return envelope.
