 1      Sec. 1. Department of Health and Human Services to amend rules.
 2   Resolved: That the Department of Health and Human Services shall amend its rules in
 3   Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter III, Section 67, Principles of
 4   Reimbursement for Nursing Facilities to provide that Maine Veterans' Homes nursing
 5   facilities are reimbursed for services provided to residents covered under Title XIX of the
 6   United States Social Security Act based upon the actual cost of services provided through
 7   June 30, 2023.
 8       Sec. 2.    Appropriations and allocations. Resolved: That the following
 9   appropriations and allocations are made.
10   HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF
11   Nursing Facilities 0148
12   Initiative: Provides one-time appropriations and allocations to the Department of Health
13   and Human Services to amend its rules governing MaineCare reimbursement in order to
14   provide cost-based reimbursement to Maine Veterans' Homes nursing facilities through
15   June 30, 2023.
