1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2 Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §13013, sub-§3-A is enacted to read:
3 3-A. Special education endorsement; course requirements. Requirements for a
4 professional teacher certificate endorsement for special education must allow for up to 3
5 courses related to autism spectrum disorder to count toward certification.
6 SUMMARY
7 This bill allows for up to 3 courses related to autism spectrum disorder to count toward
8 professional teacher certification with an endorsement for special education.
