1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2 Sec. 1. 34-B MRSA §1001, sub-§1-B is enacted to read:
3 1-B. Behavioral health. "Behavioral health" includes but is not limited to a wide
4 range of mental health disorders and illnesses, substance misuse, substance use disorder
5 and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
6 SUMMARY
7 This bill defines "behavioral health" in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 34-B as
8 including but not being limited to a wide range of mental health disorders and illnesses,
9 substance misuse, substance use disorder and developmental disabilities, including autism
10 spectrum disorder.
