Resolve, Directing the Department of Education To Study the Regional
Adjustment
Sec. 1. Study of regional adjustment component of school funding formula;
report. Resolved: That the Department of Education shall study the impacts of the
regional adjustment component of the school funding formula pursuant to the Maine
Revised Statutes, Title 20-A, section 15682 and submit a report of its findings and
recommendations to the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction
over education matters no later than January 15, 2023.
