1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
2 Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §453, sub-§3-A, ¶A-1 is enacted to read:
3 A-1. Consists of or comprises language that is vulgar, obscene, contemptuous or
4 profane;
5 SUMMARY
6 This bill allows the Secretary of State to refuse to issue or to recall a vanity registration
7 plate that consists of or comprises language that is vulgar, obscene, contemptuous or
8 profane.
