An Act relative to the drinking of alcohol at drive-in venues.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Section 24I of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018
2 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (c) and inserting in place thereof
3 the following:-
4 (c) This section shall not apply to (1) the passengers of a motor vehicle designed,
5 maintained and used for the transportation of persons for compensation, (2) when a motor
6 vehicle is stationary where admission is paid to view a motion picture or live entertainment
7 within the geographic boundaries of an establishment licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on
8 premises consumption under chapter 138, or (3) the living quarters of a house coach or house
9 trailer.
