The recent championship took place on April 20th at Pineville High School, where Lafayette Parish athletes amassed a total of 2,378 points, surpassing the second-place St. Tammany Parish and third-place Rapides Parish.

The resolution highlights the exceptional performance of individual athletes, particularly Kolbron Johnlouis from Charles Burke Elementary, who contributed significantly with 639 points. The Senate recognizes the hard work and dedication of the athletes, coaches, and parents involved in this achievement and expresses its pride in their success. A copy of the resolution will be sent to the Lafayette Parish School Board to formally acknowledge this accomplishment.
