Provides relative to occupational licenses
Proposed law defines “professional or occupational licensing board” as any state agency, board, commission, or substantially
similar entity involved in the licensing, certification, or registration of any regulated profession or occupation within the
state. Proposed law directs professional or occupational licensing boards in this state to publish certain information on its
website annually beginning on February 15, 2023.
Proposed law provides that every professional or occupational licensing board in the state shall submit a typed summary, no
longer than one page, identifying requirements for obtaining a full licensure status or practice of a professional or occupation
regulated by the board in this state. Proposed law provides that the board shall submit the summary prescribed in this bill to
the Senate Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection and International Affairs and the House Committee on
Commerce.

EXPENDITURE EXPLANATION
There is no anticipated direct material effect on governmental expenditures as a result of this measure. Proposed law directs
professional or occupational licensing boards in this state to publish certain information on its website annually beginning on
February 15, 2023. This bill also requires a typed summary, no longer than one page, identifying requirements for obtaining
a full licensure status or practice of a profession or occupation regulated by the board in this state.
REVENUE EXPLANATION
There is no anticipated direct material effect on governmental revenues as a result of this measure.
