Existing constitution provides that every citizen of the state has the right to register and vote
upon reaching 18 years of age. Provides exceptions.
Proposed constitutional amendment expressly limits this right to vote to U.S. citizens.
Prohibits allowing noncitizens to register and vote.
Provides for submission of the proposed amendment to the voters at the statewide election
to be held Dec. 10, 2022.
