Provides with respect to uninsured motorist coverage limits for transportation network drivers. (8/1/21)
Present law provides relative to automobile, property, casualty, and liability insurance policies for private passenger vehicles
that are not used as a public or livery conveyance for passengers, nor rented to others. Proposed law requires
transportation network companies to provide a disclosure to each transportation network driver before the driver accepts
prearranged rides on the company’s digital network. Proposed law requires the mandatory disclosure to include the
insurance coverage, including the types of coverage and the limits for each coverage provided and any liability coverage
rejected, which the transportation network company provides while the transportation network company driver uses a
personal vehicle in connection with a transportation network company's digital network. Proposed law effective 8/01/2021.

There is no anticipated direct material effect on governmental expenditures as a result of this measure. The proposed law
mandates that transportation network companies must provide an insurance disclosure to each transportation network driver
before that driver accepts prearranged rides on the company's digital network.
