EXPENDITURE EXPLANATION
There is no anticipated direct material effect on governmental expenditures as a result of this measure since this resolution
merely directs the LBCC to review the compensation of assistants and establish a salary schedule no later than April 12,
2021. To the extent the LBCC establishes a salary schedule at rates higher than baseline, there is a potential increase in
SGF expenditures for the Legislature. Any such increase is speculative and would require establishment of a salary schedule
by the LBCC and an appropriation increase to fund the pay adjustments presumably beginning in FY 22.
REVENUE EXPLANATION
There is no anticipated direct material effect on governmental revenues as a result of this measure.
