SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for SB 388 by Senator Hilderbrand
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning SB 388 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
SB 388 would require a voter (or an individual on the voter’s behalf) returning an advance
voting ballot to personally deliver the ballot to the county election officer or to return the ballot by
mail through the United States Postal Service.
The Secretary of State and the Office of Judicial Administration state that enactment of SB
388 would not have a fiscal effect on the operations of either agency.
