SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2435 by House Committee on Appropriations
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2435 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2435 would recognize public safety telecommunicators as emergency responders in
Kansas wherever necessary and appropriate in legislative and administrative contexts. The bill
would also add public safety telecommunicators to the definition of “emergency responder” within
the Kansas Intrastate Emergency Mutual Aid Act.
The enactment of the bill would have no fiscal effect.
