SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2306 by Representative Curtis, et al.
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2306 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2306 would allow city and county construction contracts to provide a minimum wage
or benefits above the minimum wage or benefits required by state or federal law.
The Department of Revenue indicates that the bill would have no fiscal effect on State
General Fund revenues. According to the League of Kansas Municipalities, the bill would have
no fiscal effect on local governments.
