SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2006 by Representatives Highberger et al.
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2006 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2006 would change the name of the “Columbus Day” state holiday to “Indigenous
Peoples Day.”
According to the Department of Administration enactment of HB 2006 would have no
fiscal effect
