SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2237 by House Committee on Local Government
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2237 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2237 would require each local board of education to designate by resolution a
newspaper or website to be the official publication source for the school district. Once designated,
the newspaper or website would be the official publication source for the district until the board of
education would designate a different newspaper or website.
Enactment of HB 2237 would have no fiscal effect.
