SUBJECT: Revised Fiscal Note for SB 34 by Senate Committee on Financial
Institutions and Insurance
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following revised fiscal note concerning SB 34 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
SB 34 would exempt certain association health plans from regulation under K.S.A. 40-
2209b through 40-2209j and 40-2209m through 40-2209o.
The Insurance Department indicates enactment of SB 34 would have no fiscal effect on the
Department.
